As part of Travel 2's continued drive towards improving efficiency and performance, the company has announced that air bookings made online via www.travel2.com are now made in Galileo, effective from 7pm on December 07.
From that date, the key change is that agents receive a Galileo locator instead of a Worldspan locator when they make a booking online. All bookings made with Travel 2, can be retrieved from the Travel 2 reference in www.travel2.com by selecting the 'Agent Admin' tab and choosing the 'My Bookings' option.
Alternatively all Galileo PNRs can be retrieved in www.viewtrip.com.
Agents will still be able to call the Travel 2 online team on 0800 458 6355. and by selecting the appropriate option thebooking will be handled by an experienced member of the team. Instant Messenger will not be available for historical bookings - however it will be for all Galileo created bookings going forward.
